The Dog House was established in April 2008 by me, Sonia Chivers. After many years of commuting and working in London, I decided to have a change of pace and find a job that I loved. I trained at The Canine Design Academy in Dog Grooming and have never regretted my decision to change...in fact my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner!

A lot has changed since I first opened the doors. Different premises which some of my customers have been to them all! I've taken on more staff and sadly lost Merlot who was a huge part of The Dog House, but the ethos has remained the same to work with your dog to build confidence in a calm environment.

Over the years I have become a proud supporter of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and provide a discounted service for all owners or puppy socialisers.
